We are closely monitoring the weather and road conditions in our area. At this time, all schools plan to operate on a normal schedule. However, if road conditions change, we will communicate any decision regarding a delayed start or school closure early in the morning. Notifications will be shared through our district messaging system, website, social media platforms, and local news outlets. Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us keep our school community safe. The safety of our students, staff, and families always remains our top priority.
The basketball games scheduled for today are being rescheduled and will not be played this evening. We will post the date once it is finalized.
We proudly recognize National Parent Involvement Day (November 20) by honoring the parents and caregivers who partner with us throughout the year. From classrooms to events to behind-the-scenes support, you play an essential role in our school district.

WC JROTC was excited to participate as the University of Arkansas at Monticello hosted the Arkansas Supreme Court as part of the court’s “Appeals on Wheels: Bringing the Courtroom to the Community” educational outreach initiative. The unique event provided students, educators and community members an opportunity to observe the state’s highest court in action as it heard the oral argument in Case No. CR-24-690: Christopher Gamble v. State of Arkansas.
