WC held their back to school convocation August 7, 2025 with a “Boots on the Ground” theme. Special guests included Pine Bluff Mayor Vivian Flowers, State Representative Mike Holcomb, ARESC representative Cathi Swan, Chris Kane from Relyance Bank, and school board members Connie Compton and Alan Frazier. Attendees were inspired and energized by performances from the WCHS cheer squad, band, and choir as well as presentation of colors by the award-winning JROTC. Assistant principal Daniel Holcomb performed the national anthem also. We’re ready for a successful and memorable school year with our boots on the ground, ready to work!
