As we all get ready for the new school year, I'll be looking at food allergies and dietary restrictions so we can modify menus as need for students. If your student has a food allergy, or needs a dietary restriction, please have their physician fill out a Medical Statement so we can address it. The form can be found at https://www.wc-web.k12.ar.us/page/meal-modification-form1 If your student has a milk allergy, please let us know whether it is just that they can't drink regular milk or if they can't have any milk products (cheese, yogurt, baked good with milk as an ingredient). We can substitute soy milk or lactose-free milk with a doctor's order. Watson Chapel School District does not serve peanut butter, tree nuts or any fish/seafood. However, we do have a soybutter/jelly sandwich that we are introducing this year. Paula Bailey Child Nutrition Director pbailey@wcmail.k12.ar.us 870-515-4090

Mrs. Martin’s Life Span and Development class visited UAPB Child Development Center. The class volunteered and observed toddlers and preschoolers. Our very own Khamani Cooper connected with his preschool teacher, Ms. Candi Gibson while visiting the center. He is now a graduating senior. The students could not leave without riding bikes and running around the playground.
