So we had an extra serving cart, and I asked Sarah Rucker (cafe manager at Edgewood) if she could use it. I love that she said yes :) She has now set up a salad bar for adults to fix their own salads. We love our teachers and staff and its so great that we could expand our options to them as well.

What a day!!! The pizza launch went really well, except we didn't have enough cooked at first so we had long lunches and lines. Thank you for all of our students for being so patient. We had over 100 more student eat today that we usually do.
Thank you administrators for being patient with the long lunch today.
Thank you to High School Cafeteria Staff who rocked it today!!!!
Tomorrow we will do cheese, sausage and pepperoni pizza as well as pizza pockets (think hot pockets).

Tomorrow is our Kick Off of Smart Mouth Pizza in the Junior and High School. The cafeteria staff learned how to make the fresh pizza today and we are all excited about tomorrow.

Congratulations to Mrs. Johnson and the Watson Chapel Choirs for earning a Composite Level ll - Excellent Rating during their Choral Performance Assessment (CPA) on Thursday, March 2, 2023, at Lakeside High School in Hot Springs, AR. The Junior High Choir sang "In Terra Pax" and "Let There Be Peace" with solos by Jayden Carroll and Matthew Givens, while the High School sang "Pie Jesu" and "Shut De Do", with solos by Shanice Green and Mon'Tavion Haywood.

On Friday, February 24, 2023, Watson Chapel High School held its 2nd Nine Weeks Awards Ceremony in the school auditorium. Student accomplishments were highlighted in (3) categories: All A’s, A&B Honor Roll, and Merit List. Mr. Cardell Meadows, Jr. (2001 Honor Graduate of WCHS) was the keynote speaker. Mr. Meadows did an awesome job explaining the essentiality of learning good financial practices to ensure a comfortable future. He compared the same concepts used to maintain good grades now to the same ones needed to maintain good credit and to make good financial choices in the future.
Superintendent Tom Wilson and Assistant Superintendent LaDonna Spain were present to show support and to give the students words of wisdom. Special entertainment was rendered by Montavion Haywood, a graduating senior who was also recognized with a Merit list award. Parents came to show their love and support for our top scholars.
The students were presented with certificates and snacks. In addition, students who finished the semester with all A’s were presented a monetary gift.
The Watson Chapel High School Administration and staff are proud to acknowledge the academic achievements of the following students for the 2nd Nine Weeks:
