Coleman Families: Join us for ATLAS Data Night on Wednesday, Oct. 7 from 4:30–5:30 p.m. in the Coleman Elementary Gym. Learn more about your child's ATLAS data, Levels 1–4, student progress, and data binders. We look forward to seeing you!
Coleman Elementary is one of just 12 schools selected from 56 applicants to receive the AR Commitment to Excellence in STEM Education Grant, totaling $6,251.93!
The funds will provide new STEM equipment to support classroom teachers and grow our STEM activity class. 💛🖤🔬

Our aspiring leaders engaged in meaningful learning and collaboration designed to strengthen their leadership skills and prepare them to make an impact across our district. The Watson Chapel School District Prevention Recovery Education Program (PREP) partnered with The Center for Healing Hearts and Spirits during Edgewood Elementary’s Title II Meeting to provide families with valuable resources, education, and support.
During the meeting, parents received information on substance abuse prevention and increased awareness of Arkansas Code § 20-27-1903, part of the Protection from Secondhand Smoke for Children Act. The law prohibits knowingly smoking tobacco in a motor vehicle when a child under the age of 14 is present. Individuals who violate the law may be subject to a fine.
Through partnerships like this, WCSD PREP continues working to connect families with information and resources that promote healthier, safer environments for students and their families.
