Edgewood Elementary students created teddy bears using various mediums as part of their art class. Guest judges Alfred Carroll, Virginia Hymes, and Dell Gorman worked alongside art teacher Ashley McDonald to give awards to students based on their work. Great job!

Dear Stakeholders,
Watson Chapel High School will remain closed on Thursday, September 25, 2025, due to the continued power outage affecting the main building. Entergy crews are actively working to restore service, and we will provide another update by 1:00 PM tomorrow regarding the status of resuming normal operations on Friday, September 26, 2025. Please note that the missed instructional day will be made up later in the school year.
All other district campuses will remain open and operate on their regular schedules.

Entergy crews are continuing their work to restore power to Watson Chapel High School. While progress is being made, restoration has not yet been completed. We are closely monitoring the situation and remain in contact with Entergy as they work to resolve the issue.
An additional update regarding the status of power restoration will be provided by 6:00 p.m. today.
